By placing an order with GumJoy, you agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy.

Order Processing Time

We aim to process and prepare orders as quickly as possible.

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days, unless a different timeframe is stated on the product page, at checkout, or during busy periods.

Orders are not usually processed or dispatched on weekends or public holidays unless stated otherwise.

Please note that processing time is separate from shipping or delivery time.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to the United Kingdom unless otherwise stated on our website.

If we expand shipping to other countries or regions, this will be updated on our store.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times will vary depending on your location, the shipping method selected, and courier availability.

Typical delivery estimates may range from 1–5 business days after dispatch for UK orders, but these timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.

Delays may occasionally occur due to high order volumes, weather conditions, courier issues, public holidays, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

We may offer free shipping, flat-rate shipping, or location-based shipping rates from time to time. Any such offers or rates will be displayed on our website or at checkout.

Order Confirmation and Shipping Confirmation

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. Once your order has been dispatched, you may receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details, where available.

Not all delivery methods include tracking.

Delivery of Perishable Products

Because GumJoy sells fresh fruit and other perishable food products, it is important that orders are received promptly upon delivery.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • the delivery address provided is accurate and complete;
  • someone is available to receive the order if required; and
  • perishable items are unpacked, checked, and stored appropriately as soon as possible after delivery.

We are not responsible for spoilage, deterioration, or damage that occurs after delivery due to delay in receiving, unpacking, or properly storing the products.

Failed Deliveries and Incorrect Addresses

Please make sure your delivery address, contact details, and any delivery instructions are correct before placing your order.

We are not responsible for failed deliveries, delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from:

  • incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer;
  • the customer being unavailable to receive the order where a signature or attendance is required;
  • the customer failing to collect the parcel from a courier or pickup location, where applicable; or
  • restricted access to the delivery location.

If an order is returned to us or destroyed due to incorrect delivery information or failed delivery attempts, we may not be able to offer a refund, especially for perishable goods.

Delays Outside Our Control

While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • courier delays;
  • severe weather;
  • traffic disruptions;
  • public holidays;
  • customs or transport disruptions, where applicable; or
  • other unforeseen delivery service interruptions.

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, missing items, incorrect, or otherwise not in acceptable condition, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at:

  • clear photos of the product and packaging, where applicable.

Any issues relating to damaged, missing, incorrect, or spoiled products will be handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

Risk and Ownership

Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery to the address provided in your order, or when the order is collected or left in accordance with your delivery instructions, where applicable.

Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received full payment for the order.

Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to limit or refuse delivery to certain postcodes, regions, or addresses where shipping fresh or perishable products is not feasible, too costly, restricted, or unsafe.

If we are unable to fulfil your order for delivery reasons after it has been placed, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.
